TPU Unreal Tournament Server?????

This is why Epic Games needs to make a UT 2022 which Returns to the UT 99/2004 Roots, doesnt mesh into Gears of war either, or have a Story Mode for Unreal which can lead into tournaments from time to time...

I totally agree, we should schedule some gaming sessions so several players know when it is and can jump in with other members!

I found your UT2k4 Team DM server @Anoniem and played a couple of rounds with bots. Works well.

Found myself taking some screenies because damn IMO UT2k4 still looks very nice (with everything set up properly at least). An yes, I was getting pwned while I was running around taking screenshots lol.

A rough schedule would be cool. Pick 2 days a week. Saturday, Wednesday. Like 5-9 East Coast. I'm on the west, but I can figure out math

Haven't had a chance to even jump in. Was the bots on the server that was rented, or did you start a server?

There were no bots when I jumped in earlier yesterday to go through the settings and stuff. I haven't tried with my LTE connection yet though to check ping...I might be in the mid 50s due to location. The game does look pretty nice though...I remember it looking good, but my PC back then wasn't great. It really does look good still. I just applied the patches and widescreen fix thing. Game feels so slow now though after playing nothing but Quake Champions for so long...gonna take awhile to get back into the swing of things. I barely even remember the weapons anymore...and movement is awful at the moment lol

We should indeed pin a date and time, way easier that way. I don't tend to check chat and TPU every few hours

Is this a server that is going to be up all the time? Or are you hosting it and will be shutting it down when not in use?

Reason I ask, if it's going to be up 24/7 then there is no reason to have the server that I rented?

Good question! I'll probably try to keep tabs on the amount of players. If there haven't been any players or a low count in 20 days I'll post it somewhere here. If that doesn't increase the player count I'll terminate the server. And of course it'll be up 24/7 for as long as possible. I do have to admit that I should have posted the server IP and PW immediately, that was my bad, you didn't need to rent a server, sorry for that. I've been busier then I'd like the last few days, though that'll be over in a few days

For the time being we could just create one server with freaky mods/maps and the other just classic *insert gamemode*. These mods/maps do take more effort and makes switching on the server side less of a pain for either one of us.

Let me know what you think! I'll also be available this saturday from 14:00 and sunday (timezone).

USB tether your phone, like me! lol Seriously...I have such crappy internet where I am, I only online game with a USB tethered LTE+ connection and it actually WORKS somehow. It also uses barely any data...maybe around 200MB for a few hours of fragging. Like, I am competitive still with that connection (30ish ping on most NA servers). If anyone wants to mess around on the server, I am able to later tonight or anytime tomorrow, just let me know..

To what? Where I'm going I'm lucky to have clean power. Last time I connected my laptop to the wall and then attached a portable speaker through USB, the laptop's board got fried instantly. Lol. 3G? 4G? I'm happy if I get to send a text

Its rural France, in the middle of nowhere, its honestly like you're back in the 90's and the house is a half century older I reckon.
