I have an auros b450, nvidia geforce 1070 founders edition, 16gb corsair ram, amd ryzen 5 cpu. Was installing masterliquid ml240l rgb, about 2 months after i built it. The cpu came of with the original cpu fan, i reinstalled and lined up the arrows. None of the pins were bent or broke, it went smooth from there until i went to boot. I can get all my rgb to come on and the fans to spin, it doesn’t do the beep like normal and the display wont come up. The rgb and fan are both on on the gpu.

Is a fan plugged in to the Cpu header?

I have the cpu_fan and cpu_opt ports both with wires from my cpu cooler running into them
Make sure you haven't plugged RGB into a fan header , how tight is the CPU heatsink mount.

Are there any LEDs on the Motherboard to indicate a fault in the boot sequence?

Might be a bug with those boards.
Or a huge coincidence.

I just rewired everything, same deal

Thats crazy though either way lol

When i turn the power on behind the tower the motherboard only flashes the typical lights. Then when i hit the power button the fans and rgb go fine. The red light on the motherboard goes from top left to top right, and then thats where it sits

Red lights

I had this with my one year old Ryzen 5 3600. The MSI B450 Tomahawk all the sudden stopped doing POST. The board would hang on the CPU LED, however swapping back to a Ryzen 3 1200 the board POSTed again every time. Same with the new 3800X.

Need to clean up the paste on the 3600, and send it in to AMD for a exchange.

Just got it to boot!!!!

Pulled it apart again, took off the cpu and put it back in. Seems to be back to normal

I was able to get one POST out of the 3600 after clearing CMOS but then it would go back to not POSTing for me. Eventually I gave up and left the Ryzen 3 1200. Hopefully you have better luck than I did.

I’m wondering if the CPU die degraded on me.

Those indicate the boot sequence and indicate a fault if they pause prior to booting, the fact they made it to the Dram then stopped show there may be an issue with the memory, or memory controller as I recall early CPUs had an issue with the Infinity Fabric.
