Trouble removing Sapphire 9800 Pro stock fan!!!

Hi,

Ive finally got my replacement card (long story!) and I want to put my VGA Silencer Rev 3 on it but Im having trouble removing the fan. The model of card is 'Sapphire ATi Radeon 128MB 9800 Pro Atlantis'
Any help would be great :)

If you look good it has spring loaded pins. First u need to pull the pins at the top out with plyers. Then u need to push the black pins on the back through the card and the cooler will get of...

I didn't even need pliers. Just press together the two small "fins" on each black peg. Simultaneously, push twoards the card (and out the top). When you mount he new heatsink, be sure you put in everything nice and snug without breaking the card.
