Trying to decide on an RGB KB&M set...

My Logitech illuminated KB recently died and I've been trying to decide what kit to go for. My requirements are as follows;
1. Must be white(preferred), gold or silver chassis. Black is not acceptable.
2. RGB much have a setting that allows solid red & solid white and a dimming setting.
3. Keys must be shine through to illuminate the function of the key.
4. KB must have Volume +&- and a mute button.
5. Volume controls must be direct action, no holding down the "FN" key.
6. KB must be full size, with 10key.
7. Mouse must be of reasonable size to accommodate my large hands.
8. Mouse must not have too many buttons. Maximum of 3 or 4 extra.
9. Set must be corded. Wireless is not acceptable.

I've narrowed the choices down to the following.

Klomax K3

V9000

I'm leaning toward the V9000 as I like the idea of the volume knob.

Any thoughts?

Am interested in other opinions so long as they meet the above requirements

Hi,
Price point is wow
I down to owning all G710+ one used off ebay for 60.us and mice with like 15 buttons I love so we may not see eye to eye :)

I do like the volume wheels to.

Hi,
Hard pass on corsair stuff icue :eek:

Logitech has bad ones to though
I got rid/ dumped for 35.us a G910

Black but white lights and no driver needed :cool:

Yeah, that was a problem for me too. I want the lighting controls built into the KB and directly controlled by same.

Ohh! Never saw that one. I like it.
That mouse is in my wish list.
...or this one (from the brand I currently use)
Redragons are good. I've used them before.

I've got a matching KB in my list as well;

The Redragon KB looks good too. The black one might be worth considering if it's still in production if/when my K55 decides to retire.

Hi,
That ones pretty :cool:
My only complaint is the mechanical switches. I prefer my keyboards to be quiet. However, that aspect is not a deal-breaker.

EDIT;
I take that back, the black switches seem to be the silent ones. Very strongly leaning toward this one now..

Hi,
I've added o-rings before clear ones don't block lighting
That one looks pretty easy to do.

No 10key. That's why I leaned toward the K3 set above. Good choice otherwise!

Amazon.com : keyboard numpad white

Razer Huntsman + Viper Elite.

Optical switches, lowest latency against the competition.

Nice dock for the mouse so it's always charged.

Today the mouse arrived, decided on a Redragon Griffin on Amazon. $25 shipped.

The keyboard will arrive tomorrow. Ended up going with the V9000 set posted in the OP.

This mouse is excellent. It's VERY comfortable for my large hands! It remembers DPI and LED settings when unplugged, which is really nifty. Nylon braided cord as well. Wasn't expecting that(though it was in the item description on the Amazon page).

Some of the nicest packaging I've ever seen.

Blame the camera for this washed out photo. The thing look beautiful in person!! This mouse kicks the crap out of my Logitech M510.

I was looking for a skyloong keyboard that fits your requirements as I'm a big fan of them and this popped up in my search

Any father Ted fans here will appreciate the brand.

No volume knob though

Look at Roccat maybe?

Yeah, that's a dealbreaker for me. I want volume controls on keyboard and not triggered by an "FN" key.

I already decided on the V9000 kit in the OP. Will post pictures tomorrow after it arrives...
