ughhh! BSOD on boot

I guess my computer BSOD on boot right before getting to windows. not sure what the problem is though, everything is stable.

It gave me a list of two files in windows that could have caused the problems

I havent gotten a BSOD for a long long time. this is like the first for this rig and i havent done anything. i guess the memory could be going out since i have really oil Corsair XMS3!

check for dust? im just guessing here since u didnt do anything 1 thing that could happen is dust accumulation if u got no filters, thus afcors blocked heatsinks and so on

i do have dust build up and this is my cleaning week so one of these days im taking the computer to my neighbors to use the air compressor. but how would dust cause BSOD if my temps are how they were before dust?

Error codes, and what files is it? It could be bad drivers, something wrong the the harddrive or the filesystem, faulty memory and anything.

So, error codes.

You can use Bluescreenview to look at the bsod.

i exited the windows that had them. i guess ill wait till it happens again but i maybe reformat my system when i get my 500GB storage drive tomorrow

Don't format it, get the program I linked to and you'll see all Bsod's neatly arranged in a user friendly interface.

i went from IDE to AHCI mode before i freshly installed Windows 7 to my SSD

Ahhh. Then I would think the log is disabled. Go to System -> Advanced System Settings -> Advandced -> under Startup and Recovery click the button Settings -> and there you have system failure. Enable the "write to log" thing and disable automatic restart. Now all the BSOD's are saved for future reference.

Unless you already did that and the log still doesn't exists, then there's something weird going on.

Isnt there a way to check the "in windows log" not this program??

EDIT: I am viewing the Event Viewer and at the time of when i turned my PC on this morning which was 6:32 apparently it rebooted and here is what it says

But is it still set to AHCI mode in the BIOS? sometimes resets back to IDE and causes this problem, or have you just freshly reinstalled just now?

no it was during christmas when i installed my SSD. ill go check and see if its still set the AHCI

just got the same BSOD again after putting in my new storage 500gb F3 hard drive and listening to music. I had this problem when i first built the rig. its like the music chip or driver is really messed up or something.

heres the information on the BSODz;

Looks like a DX error....you should uninstall your Vid driver....reinstall the latest DX version...then reinstall your Vid driver...that should fix it unless you have hardware damage.
