Underclocking

You know how people say you CAN'T underclock your core vary much... I got proof that I can underclock mine alot.
I think it is 475 for the 7900GS i haven't underclocked my RAM vary much i know it can go down to around 250.

Yeah, I've underclocked my x1950pro by over 50% from it's set speeds w/o issue. I just don't see the need if I'm running cool at stock/OC'd speeds. That would be the only reason I could really see for underclocking aside from lower power consumption. But OC-ers have decided that power consumption isn't a big deal if they've decided to OC. But :toast:

I got lower on the mem if i lower it anymore it doesn't work right the only reason i am doing it is just to see how cool it will run and i have nothing better to do.

I underclocked my GeForce 7100 to 78.26/134.67 from 350/532.

That is a good underclock i bet if you lower it anymore it isn't smooth or it won't run.

lol. Mine was vary bad when running at 1mhz any page with pics or SS would take it along time.
