Undervolt not working. Offset changes not working.

Hello, I recently bought a new desktop PC with a CPU i7 13700K and a motherboard Gigabyte B760M DS3H DDR4. I should be able to undervolt but as you will see in the screenshots I'll share, the changes I have in Throttlestop are not working, Offset value stays at 0 despite having the offset voltage at -125 MV. I even got into BIOS to manually undervolt the CPU but it's just not working, I don't know if there is an Undervolt Protection option which I had not found. I searched in reddit and I even change. I took some screenshots of the BIOS settings as well. I use Windows 11 and I even have VBS turned off, I don't know if I have to turn off something else, temps are not a problem since it's a new desktop (60-70ºC while playing) but I would still like to use this feature.
EDIT: Using Gigabyte Control Center, it says that Undervolt Protection is enabled, I don't know what more to turn off, I already disabled Intel Virtualization.

ThrottleStop shows that Undervolt Protection is enabled. That means any undervolt request will be ignored by the CPU.

Some Asus B760 motherboards have an option in the BIOS so you can use the early 0x104 microcode. Look for an option like that in your BIOS. If you cannot find this option in the BIOS you are using, try updating the BIOS. It might be in the latest beta version.

I have read about the microcode thing, I have the latest BIOS update and I can't find that option, I have tried to change the BIOS to the one that shows the microcode option but it doesn't seem to work, I cannot flash it... guess I'm screwed then.

Wait, I think I found it, not sure if it is this option

EDIT: Undervolt works now but the PC keeps restarting over and over..

That is the option!

Set it to 0x104 and when you run ThrottleStop, the FIVR window should not show Undervolt Protection anymore.

ThrottleStop should also show that you are using the early microcode 104 instead of 115 that your previous screenshot showed.

I did it but I had to turn it back to what it was before, PC was crashing constantly.
Edit: oh great it seems it cannot go back to what it was before... i fucked up my new PC, great. I'm so fucking stupid men, so fucking stupid, i cannot start my PC even if I use default settings in BIOS.

There is a battery on the motherboard. Read the manual. It should show you where this is located.

Sometimes there is also a jumper on the motherboard. When you short out two pins with this jumper, it resets all of the BIOS settings.

Me too! I always hate it when good advice goes horribly wrong.

Are you using ThrottleStop to undervolt? Somewhere around -100 mV for the P core and the P cache is usually a good place to start testing. At least when using ThrottleStop to undervolt, if you use some bad settings, rebooting should return things to normal.

I spoke too soon, I had to return to the previous microcode, with the 0x124 the PC was apparently fine, but after a few minutes it would crash out of nowhere, and I didn't even had Throttlestop opened and BIOS was at default settings (without Virtualization). Seems I won't be able to undervolt after all...

The Asus B760 boards are able to run the early 0x104 microcode without any issues. Random crashes could be an incompatibility with your memory that was fixed in the later BIOS versions. Do you know if your memory is on the approved QVL list?

Sorry but I have no idea what you're talking about or what an QVL list is. I have checked Gigabyte Control Center since you can control voltage there as well, I don't know if there is something that has to be changed.

It is possible that Windows don't have that microcode downloaded(just a thought).I've noticed in the latest additions(2*H2) and onwards,in Device Manager: BIOS Firmware or something.Worth checking out.

P.S. If the board is capable of runing that microcode but Windows don't have it,they can't sync up and i guess next thing is BSOD.

No idea how to check if I have it downloaded.

Try disabling it in Device Manager,i think(by logic) WIndows should accept the microcode from the BIOS instead of what is stored in System32.
I could be very wrong but there is no harm to try it,at least.

There is a lot of stuff in Device Manager, don't know where to look. I'll be honest I know nothing about computers and all of this programming stuff, I used Throttlestop in my previous laptop and it was so simple to use it that I wanted to use it here, but it seems I have to tweak million things and I don't really want to risk destroying the PC, I almost had a heart attack earlier.

Post a screenshot of your Device Manager if you want(the upper half). But...if you so scared to thinker with it,why even bother.
Regular PC's are much more complicated to set up(in BIOS) then Laptops.Do your research first, see if you're comfortable doing it in the first place.

There you go. I really fucked up before.. cannot update drivers it seems, gives error, Intel Arc Graphics doesn't open, Gigabyte Control Center says I have drivers to install, I do and even then it is still there.. PC seems fine but I'm scared to try anymore. Windows Update also can't download updates.. I REALLY fucked up.

@Solrac-H it's suppose to look something like this:

If you have it,expand it,right click, disable, restart, and try again with the other microcode. If you don't have that option in DM....well i guess you can't try it out.
Looks like your Windows is already messed up so i'd suggest you to do fresh install and leave it alone. And yeah...swearing is not nice, even if we're all grown ups here.

Nah I give up, can't see if 0x214 is there, don't know how to check, I see two of them so I guess it is but I'm not risking it anymore.. sorry about the swearing, I'm so frustrated that I might have messed up my PC and it's new, I may have to return it just because I messed up, it seems I cannot update drivers, I'll confirm it when Nvidia updates a new driver because I cannot even uninstall Geforce Experience, or return to a previous driver. Don't know if installing Windows 11 again would fix this.

I found out what the problem was, turns out that Gigabyte Control Center was causing the problems since it's performance option has voltage controls, I uninstalled the Control Center and I can use Throttlestop to undervolt without crashes. Problem is I won't be able to control the fans now without it, you know any reliable program to control fans? I think MSI afterburner lets you control them
