Undervolting i5 10500H gets me stable fps but CPU temp fluctuations

I've tried a lot of settings but I haven't got the solution I was hoping for. Right now this are my Throttlestop settings. In the Throttlestop benchmark I don't reach the 90 degrees but when playing an intensive game like Forza Horizon 5 at Ultra settings (RT on High and DLSS on Quality) my CPU temps fluctuates a lot. 75-86 and sometimes it spikes to 92 for half a second multiple times. I usually get like 75-83 degrees when the game doesn't need to load a lot of things in the map but when reaching high speeds on the car I get constant 80-87 fluctuations with 90-92 degrees spikes.

I know that, with those game settings, my CPU will be under a lot of stress, but is that fluctuation any normal? it never stays still not even when getting 73-83 degrees in a "normal" condition. It is aways moving.

One thing I have to say is that the fps were super stable. 72 fps most of the time but a lot of frame time spikes. Nothing noticeable tho. Compared to when I played this game without Undervolting but with Turboboost disabled my fps were less stable and I was getting even lower fps in high settings. On Ultra it was barely enjoyable. Oh and my load times were also really bad without Turboboost.

Now with Undervolting I get better fps but CPU temp fluctuations. On Valorant at the highest settings my CPU also fluctuates but it hasn't reached the 90 degree mark not even a single spike.

I repasted my CPU myself not even a month ago. Cleaned all the dust I could. I don't think it is a physical problem but I'm not sure ofc.

Any help will be appreciated. <3

Here's a Video Example of the fluctuations my CPU has. Keep an eye on the Afterburner data in the left corner. CPU temps are never still.

Intel says their core temperature sensors are only accurate to +/- 5°C. Some temperature variation from core to core is completely normal for that reason alone.

When you are playing a game, all cores will never be equally loaded. Even if all cores are fully loaded, they will never be running the exact same code. More reasons why core to core temperatures will be constantly varying.

It is OK if your CPU runs at 90°C. Intel considers that to be a safe operating temperature. That is why Intel sets the thermal throttling temperature to 100°C.

It sounds like your computer is running great. Do not be afraid to use or enjoy its performance.

I worry too much with this laptop bc it wasn't easy for me to get it but now I'm more relieved. Thank you so so much! :D<3
