your gpu is running x 16 @ PCIe 1.1, try to get it on PCIe 3.0 or 4.0 and you will see a nice improvement. Happened to me too

hello, at rest it is at 16x1.1 but in games etc... it goes to 16x4.0

nope there's nothing left on the table if I go any higher than what it is now it's insta crash and no I can't crank voltage any higher or current draw either it's not an RX6800XT it's a RX6800 so limited to 1.025V and +10% current which it's already pulling at 222W (max being 225W)

Okay, never knew this was a dynamic setting. Sounds strange to me the connection protocol changes under load.

^Those two cards from above are just slow, I'm sure RT capable cards will be fine

Better yet : You don't need actual screen to display it, since Superposition always downsamples it's tests to display on your screen

Besides needing the modified drivers, the saddest thing about it is the 6GB of VRAM, else it'd be a pretty good frankestein card

Honestly I haven't encountered a situation yet where the 6GB is actually a problem. And the driver situation isn't too bad either, you only need to install the modded drivers initially and then you can overwrite them with the latest official driver with NVCleanstall. So it doesn't matter if the modded drivers stop getting updates.

Edit: And by modified drivers I meant the FrankenDriver on github, I'd never install those sketchy modified drivers from Chinese sellers.

Nice. I'm kinda glad there's safe modded drivers now honestly. Those cards prevent ewaste.

Yeah. That is what makes them worth buying (also, you can patch nvidia drivers manually). Also, less e-waste in the planet n all.

The mobile AMD variants also exist, and they work with stock drivers. No modifications required.

Changed the paste and cleaned a bit, temps dropped 20C and got another 90pts with some more undervolting.

Core sitting between 1800-1900MHz. May shunt mod it sometime to bring it up to a 140W board limit or so (the VRM can handle 400W so I think it'll be okay

).
