I have Windows XP. I recently updated DirectX 9.0c (APRIL 2007 release) and ever since my system (graphics namely) has been acting funky. Can I uninstall the current version and install a previous version??????

During dxdiag everything checks out and works properly but when I play video games thtey are all choppy.

There is some tool, google it. However I would recommend updating your videocard drivers first. It could just fix the whole issue.

I have already updated my video card. But I will try to search the net for somethin. I have tried the ATI website to update my video card but they will not give me the driver because Dell is not supported so I downloaded Dell's drivers to no availe.

And if you can't get the Mobility Catalysts to work (such is the case with my iMac), you can try the Omega modded ATI drivers. They worked like a charm on my iMac, when the Cats wouldn't install. http://www.omegadrivers.net/ati/win2k_xp.php
