Uninstalling gpu drivers

Why would you not just tell him to do a windows 10 iso backup thats way better cause then you can boot of install media and restore

Just make sure your not using a 4 pin passcode for logging into Windows. There's a warning in DDU for rebooting in Safe mode that the 4 pin passcode doesn't work.
 
all i have is a 4 pin how do I make a password

u mean like other then ddu what are my options other then what isaac said I'm not tryna re download windows

Just use the password for the account you created when setting up Windows for the first time or turn off the 4 pin passcode in Settings.

Use the uninstaller for the AMD drivers in Add/Remove Programs and Features. Go to Settings then Apps or the old Control Panel.

AMD Radeon Software Adrenaline? It’ll look the same as the chipset drivers for the screenshot I posted earlier.

also when i go to look for it all I see is AMD software and chipset software

Uninstall, swap the old card for new card then reinstall the drivers after booting into Windows. Unless you decide to go for a Nvidia card then you want run DDU.
 
Panda its so that if somthing goes wrong you have a backup
 
Ok so just uninstall the software completely which will also uninstall the drivers for my 5700xt then turn of pc put in new gpu and then re install drivers
 
DDU THE driver
nothing will go wrong
 
easiest way for you would be.
download the driver, put it on the desktop.
unplug the internet (so you don't have to fiddle with settings in DDU)

go to the start menu and hold shift while clicking on restart,
go to troubleshooting, boot options , safe boot.

when it rebooted, press 4 in the option list.

start DDU, uninstall the GPU and Shutdown.
plug the new GPU into the motherboard.

Boot the PC and install the driver.

Reboot after it installed and plug the internet back in.
