Unknown Cpu Model.

Not really important but was just wondering why my my Cpu model is not recognised i have an AMD athlon x2 6000+ 3.0ghz... It works perfectly..just on my BIOS, CPUZ and the system requirments lab website all say Unknown AMD cpu.
 
are you using a socket 940 mobo?
I know that when people use opterons in AM2 mobos that's what happens
I couldn't find any info doing a quick search under Asus MV2 going to by your system specs...

I dont think im using the latest bios...afraid to update them incase it messes anything up my motherboard is a ASUS MV2
 
you won't mess anything up, chances of that are very slim
and yeah by searching asus mv2 I didn't get anything, what's the chipset?

haha well it says in cpu-z what chipset it is!
how about this, take a screenshot of all relevant screens of cpu-z
(take screenshot and paste them all in one pic)
if you feel like it of course lol
