Ok, what am I not doing. (first build)
I installed the atitool and it says 12 active pipes. ok.
I downloaded the mod flash and clicked on it.
Rebooted, and it still says 12 active pipes.
Guess I didn't expect it to be this simple.
A little help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I sure could use a little help getting started with this X800gto2 to X850 mod.
(Just this one last thing.....until next time, of course)

The articles are great, but they are a bit over my head yet.

I checked ATITOOL settings (on shift) and I have F's where they need to be to have a modable card.

The card overclocks well. Even put on the Artic Cooler Silencer 5 V2.

Sure could use a little step-by-step to get me started unlocking those extra 4 pipes.

The other day I downloaded the flash mod and clicked on it and within a day I got the blue screen of death.
Had to completely reload OS and all my programs.

Am I supposed to DL the flash to a floppy and load during post like the raid set up? :banghead: ARRRGH!!

So far you guys have helped me select parts for my first build.
Built up my confidence enough to give it a go and do it.
Then helped me get the 400mhz from my DDR400 memory when my mobo wanted to default to DDR333.
I now have the most bitchin' computer that I ever had and I owe it all to you folks.
:respect:
