The latest installment in the legendary online action series from Epic will be updated automatically via Steam and introduce support for Steamworks Achievements (with over 50 Achievements), plus a host of new features and enhancements in AI, Server Browsing, Demo Recording, Mod Support, and more.

cool just did it

Doing this now! This is really great, as now I don't need to save the DVD and can just redownload the game when needed (though I'll just save the DVD anyway). I wish that you could do this with all the games they sell on Steam (like COD4, Crysis, etc.).

Another reason why steam is so great.

UT3 any fun, never played it.

Great game paticularly death mach with fellow tpuers havnt played for a while though. =/

Ill have do that as well maybe after work tonight.

well i wanted to make a team with some of the tpu guys but we never actually played together.lol so if anyone is interested still msg me or something

Then DO WANT!

It was $10 on steam during the New Year sale. I wish I would have picked it up but I was a little low on the cash at the time.

I'm hoping my crashing issues are gone with these 181.22 drivers. DL'ing now. :)

cool. i am still glad i picked up ut3 on steam for $10. a worthy purchase for sure.

Very nice. Will do it later today. I am hoping that UT3 community will grow :(

If there is going to be a update, I might as well throw it back on the computer! Love to play it with fellow TPU'ers

....I wonder if we may actually see the promised Linux client appear for the first time? I cannot believe how long this has taken.

Does anyone know when the actual update is suppose to release?

Will do this later, and yes UT3 is pretty good, even tho to me its still has nothing on UT'04.

Uhh, have you seen the graphics of UT3 on high vs the graphics of UT2k4 on high? While graphics are hardly everything, I would not consider them "nothing."

Well, i wasn't talking about the graphics, they obviously did a overhaul on the graphics and it definitely looks better, but as for gameplay, idk UT'04 still feels better.

04 > UT3 in terms of tactile feel and playability - it feels like a console port.
graphics are a nothing when they make it feel like you're firing ping-pong balls at men in spacesuits..
bring back characters that aren't GOW inspired :(
also, I hate steam, and will always hate anything that has an 'always-on' policy.
/hate

Does anyone know when this is suppose to happen?
