Unusual Memtest error

I am running XMP set to 2600mhz now without issue.

Haven't tried the CPU voltage this time, but I know it didnt help the plats with 1.3V CPU running.

Sometimes BIOS will get weird CPU voltage, 0.75V, after no boot with memory, only reason why I suggested that. It doesn't make a difference other than to avoid the BIOS error...which might have been fixed.

Also, BIOS 1605 should be out now, dunno what version you are running...I haven't tried it myself, anything over 0906 was crap for me (Windows8 and SSD issues).

The only other suggestion I have is to take a drop into K1ngP1n's forum and try some of the BIOSes there in Shamino's thread, like 0095. Either way, you shouldn't have to work at it so hard, but if you want to paly, that's the direction I'd take.

IIRC I am on the 14xx bios as I recall something funny with the 15xx bios? Never really went back to look since I was sort of stuck until I had this kit to test against.

Well, from everything you've related, keeping in mind our discussion about the Corsair sticks, I say you're SOL, and your IMC sucks.

If it's 3570K you got, this is perfectly normal, and relates to many memory OEMs saying that 2400 MHz max for 3570K. I've been outright told my 3570k is a good one ,but the ones I've tested recently are all the same, 2666 MHz with these G.Skills no problem.

At the same time, 3770k seems to be getting better and better, with many more users reporting 2800 MHz stable now. Luck of the draw, and you got an older chip. Too bad, but not really end of the world, either, it's not like the gains offered by the ram speed are really that big, anyway.

15xx problem was SSD/memory/Windows8 problems, they have 1605 now for that, I think, but I have other issues I am still working with ASUS on, waiting for response back(and new board:p).
