clock that e6600 high as it will go, even then your still bottleneck, by the processor, unless u hit 4ghz, which is highly unlikely with a e6600
agree,, clock it to its limit ,,,
5850 would be a good choice, a bit overkill for this dual core,, but good in the long run, especially if quad core is on its way

I ran my 5770 with an e5200 and saw no supreme FPS increase switching to my quad core phenom.. I doubt his processor would bottleneck his card that much... But maybe I'm wrong.. I vouch for a 5770.. Great damn card.. Mine was able to hit 1000Ghz on the core under 1.2v in MSI afterburner. They are beastly cards.

lol I never said anything about my system being bottlenecked. Someone mentioned they get 30 fps in bc2 (i think that's what game he was referring to) and he has a quad core (q6600.)

I have considered getting a quad core, but I've never experience any bottlenecking in any of the games I play. Any limitation in performance has always been at the gpu, where lower resolutions resolve my performance issues.

5770 looks to be perfect for me.

pair a e6600 with a hd 5970, then run gta iv for example, i bet u anything money, no matter how low of res u set, both cores will max, its that simple, also this goes for any other game that's multi core based

Yeah you're right. I'm reading forum posts saying going from a dual core to a quad core in BFBC2 makes a big difference.

Dang, now I gotta figure out what recently released quad core will work in a p5w dh deluxe...
