Upgrade Combo help

can you guys recomend me a good combo of cpu+mother+memory for around $300-350 ? i was thinking about a ryzen 3200g but it seems to have a bad reputation i dont know why
purpose: kinda soft gaming, im buying a new gpu probably next month

What Country are you based in?

I think 3500x with any cheap B450 motherboard would be good
for memory I don't know what options you have so I can't recommend one

im from Argentina, actually i think my budget is around $250-275 (20.000 pesos) i did bad conversion
and in case you are wondering, yes, i need the igpu because im not going to get a new gpu for a while

The 3200g is a quad core so it chokes hard on a lot of modern games.


The 3400g has 8 threads but is still relatively slow

Both these chips are based on zen+ which makes them quite a bit slower than the other 3000 chips. You may want to wait for the 3300X to be available in your country and save up to buy a discreet GPU at the same time... both apu even with good ram are only suited for like 720p medium or 1080p low settings in the majority of games.

Is there anything good on the used market near you? I think you'll get significantly better performance for the money going with something used that's a generation or two behind.
