hello I'm new here, so I want to upgrade my PC for the next year games and I kind of afraid to pick some hardware.

here's my spec:
i3-9100f
VGA MSI RX 570 4GB
RAM 1x8GB
Motherboard MSI H310M
PSU Dazumba 600w
SSD Seagate 240GB

so I want to upgrade my VGA, but if you guys have a best recommendation I'll take that, my budget is 400$.

Software yes, lots!
Right now a good GPU in the sub 400 range would be a GTX 1660 Super (200$), or RX5700 (350$) or RTX2060 (300$).
To give you more specific advice I people here need more information about what games you play and what kind of monitor you are using. For 1080p60fps, the 1660S would be plenty, but to be honest your RX570 is not so bad fo that too.

But if you can wait a couple of months, there will be new GPUs in that segment shortly. Nvidia and AMD are just launching their top models and the smaller ones will follow in the next months.
There will be something like RTX3060 (ti) and RX6700. So, right now is not a good time to buy a GPU, but soon it will be.

You definitely should pick up another identical 8GB stick of ram. As far as gpu go it kinda depends on what games you want to play but I would wait and grab whatever is in the $299 ish price point maybe a RX 6600 or 3060 whenever they are released.

one identical stick of ram should be affordable and I would say it's the first thing to upgrade since only 1 stick is killing or hurting seriously your performance. Also with 16gb of ram you can play more deanding games if gpu allows.
for a new gpu you can go for a rx 5600xt for 260 dollars (https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Radeon-R...d=1&keywords=rx+5600+xt&qid=1604308277&sr=8-3)
Also I wouldn't go any higher with gpu because you will see bottleneck

If you upgrade you definetly need a better power supply if ypu don't want your components to be damaged by the psu going bad

I agree that 16GB would be better (more memory is always better ;) ) and memory is dirt cheap right now, so get another stick!
I don't agree with what you said about the performance impact because of single channel memory. Single Channel vs Dual Channel make a difference in some use cases like databases, but not in gaming.
The only exception, where dual channel will have a positive performance impact on gaming is, when using an iGPU, that uses normal memory as video memory.
Look at this:

yeah I also planning to buy 8GB RAM, and thanks for everyone who replied ! I thought I’m not get any replies lol, but if I buy another RAM should I stick with my RAM (V-GeN RAM DDR4 Platinum 8GB PC21300/2666Mhz) or should I buy RAM with better Mhz?

about PSU, my locals think my PSU it’s very bad, because the jokes is Da*umba is always exploded, and people give me recommendations like Corsair and Seasonic.

thanks everyone !

well I always thought it would affect also gaming. Thanks for pointing out

I'm assuming the total budget is $400 - and the RX 570 is probably close to the sweet spot for that budget.
My advice would be to get a 480GB SSD or bigger. Games are getting big and 240GB doesn't really cut it any more.

Get the same memory as you already have. Same frequency, same timings. Ideally same product by the same manufacturer as you already have. Only if you buy two new sticks, going for faster memory would make sense.

Yes your psu is bad :) But for now it seems to be working. Just keep in mind that you should upgrade it whenever you get a more powerful videocard or cpu. So plan this into your budget. Basically you can get a psu from all the major brands (corsair, seasonic, evga, fsp, enermax, silverstone and so on...)

You have a functioning pc, so you can upgrade step by step. Your rx570 will do fine for some more time. More ram is a good place to start. Get an additional ssd when you need it. And dont forget the psu before yours blows up :)

Your motherboard supports 2666MHz, so keep and add this frequency. About GPU I agree that 1660 super looks like the best VFM right now and it will also strain your PSU less than rx 570. If you can wait 2-3 months the upcoming midrange GPUs should be a huge upgrade. Personally I would combine a powerful GPU with a Seasonic focus gold 550w (or 650) or another quality PSU with more than 5-year warranty.

I would wait until after Christmas, to upgrade your video card. There's going to be an influx of new and used cards, especially if Nvidia and AMD can get production up.

Yes, wait. There will be a RTX3060 (non ti) and there will be a RX6700, both in the sub 400$, possibly even ion the sub 300$ range... probably in Q1 2021.
