Upgrade suggestions

The main reason is because my mainboard is an Asus M2N SLI NVIDIA nForce 560, which is an am2 socket. The total cost would be about 215 usd, surely I could expect to see a considerable performance increase despite the bottleneck?

In all honesty, going from a 5000+ to a Kuma is a waste of money, surely you've took time out to Google the Kuma for reviews? or are you wating to be spoon fed. You'd see a performance increase but not enough to justify spending $215, just wait a few weeks and spend $30 more on a modern CPU.

get a new (am3) board (many good ones around $200 or under) and get an AMD Athlon II x4. wait for the HD6xxx series to come out and prices on both sides may drop

thanks for the input, guys.
