People got charged more than once because they didn't actually get the game or any key. The CC process offered no feedback of what the issue was, resulting in some thinking they had made a mistake in the CC form, and trying again, not knowing their card got charged every time

I consider myself to be a fairly patient man. But, I don't get this, you go to try buy something online on the internet, you fill in your CC info, click "Buy" and get a "404 page not found", and that's it. Money gone. No confirmation email, no product received, no trace of the transaction anywhere besides in your bank account. You complain, and complete silence for more than 8-9 days. This is fine from a big company? If so, yes, I guess we have different expectations :)

For me it only was ~$60, but for some it was $120. For some that may be the last money on their account. And the reason for my thread on this issue is that it seems like it's still a problem: https://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/2041426-Game-is-not-in-Uplay-Client-after-purchase/page15

Cheers :toast:

I agree its strange, but there is a third party involved and if this was a temporary service interrupt, some bloke will have to be diving into the specific logging for your specific purchase.

I also agree with your expectation here. You paid for a product that wasn't delivered. But the core of my text was: you're in fact only 3-4 days out instead of 8-9. And that is not a very long response time, especially for something that happened to only a small subset of transactions of a given moment.

Bottom line; take it easy, don't go overboard in your communication with them because '8-9 days of waiting'. That was all ;)

As someone who bought $99 HUmble Monthly annual edition (can pause any month that I don't want the game)... I just got Assassin's Creed Origins for $8 and 25 cents.... but sure thing mate, enjoy your $10 lost.

@FordGT90Concept lol

Id never subscribe to any monthly / annual gaming service. So that $10 loss is actually a $42 savings for me.

that's your choice yes, but i can pause for as long as i want even up to 5 years, so I eventually will get all the games I want for only $8.25. /shrug

I just took a look at the service (humble bundle) for June. There's like 1 game I would want and the rest are all filler (indie) for every month. Most games they package I already own on Steam... /Shrug

Yes but you can't buy that game for $11.99 on top of that you make like the myriad genres that the rest of the monthly come with. All of the games have positive reviews.
