Hi
I have EVGA GTX 1060 SC 6GB graphic card. I tried to extract and upload the old bios rom using GPU Z 1.10.0 but it could not save the rom. So I used nvflash to save the rom.

Is there a way to upload the rom in database other than the GPU Z? I know there are few people who wants the old bios.
Thanks

There will be a GPU-Z version soon which supports GTX 1060 BIOS saving and upload

w8core you can drop the mail to csemail@evga.com or support@evga.com. My son managed to get both, the lower speed always on fan and 0 speed fan. 86.06.0E.00.60 is old lower speed fan bios. They have released a newer version 86.06.27.01.60 which has reduced the default fan speed to 25% from 43%. These bios are for SC version.

Sorry for opening the old question. I run Linux only (as the base and host OS) and I may upload the Kaveri APU rom, but as not using GPU-Z do not know where to send it. It is not large hence I can send it as an e-mail attachement. What other inforamtions have to be attached (lspci, ..?).
Thanks

I don't think Kaveri has a separate VGA ROM, it's integrated with the system BIOS, which is unsupported in our database

I do not argue, but I successfully applied procedure described in Linux tutorial (echo 1>./rom ; cat ./rom > file.rom; echo 0>./rom), and got the apropriate data. I verified this technique with Gainward GTX650 GPU, hence I hope I have real raliable data.
Well, my question remalns stil unanswerwed, Does anybody have an interest in this data? Now I have the *.rom from APU of Kaveri and Godavari.
Yes: AMD is my favorit CPU/GPU manufacture, yes: I know lot of people believe the Intel/nVidia is the best (as the advertisemnet says), hence my contribution can be marginal for the majority ;-)
