Hey, I'm getting annoyed at not being able to watch replays in MMA and Fight Night Champion. Ive been told its because i don't have a hard drive. My Xbox 360 is just the 4g. So im wondering instead of buying a 100$ hard drive, would a USB work the same? would i be able to watch replays on a USB?

THANKS IN ADVANCE!

They added USB thumb drive support up 16GB sizes a while ago for the 360. You'll need to format it for the 360 though. Dunno if you can watch replays on it, but you might be able to.

it will not work...

Strange. You would think that a 16GB USB flashdrive formatted on the 360 would act as if it's an actual HDD.

PS: TS, 20GB HDDs are super cheap right now. Just grab one of those, pop open the casing and whack it in your 4GB console.

the 360 is pretty restricted when it comes to hard drives, its rather annoying. only specific models work, you cant just slap any old drive in like you can with a PS3

Cosign with the above.

Xbox 360 limits certain features to real HDDs only. Some features don't work on any flash memory, whether it is the 4GB internal flash memory or a USB flash drive. The original Xbox 360 hard drive works fine in a slim, you just have to take it out of the case with a Torx screwdriver. It connects like a normal PC sata drive then as HookeyStreet posted.
