Using autoclock on on AMD Overdrive locks up?? :(

Hey dude, are u using a stock or after market cooler?? I read in my local computer magazine and they're able to push to 3.8 GHz with stability and pretty big performance increase just by using the stock heatsink. I bet you're intending to go above 4.0 GHz

they woulda tested that in a high end case in a room with powerful aircon, not in some geeks den in the middle of summer with only a desk fan :P

Well I'm looking at the specs and their testing condition at that magazine now. But 100% not serious like u think Mr.Mussels :banghead:
Ok here we go:

Gigabyte GM-MA790FXT-UD5
2x 1Gb DDR3 1333 MHz Kingmax Dual
ATI Radeon HD4890 1Gb GDDR5
250Gb SATA2 HDD

Don't know the case and testing condition :banghead:

i think 3.8 is impossible. they probably have kept the cpu infront of an aircom vent.

Read my earlier post plz ! Yeah probably they do that, just don't know exactly the condition
