I am trying to figure if the Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty Professional (PCI E 1x) sound card will work in PCI E 4x slot. On Gigabyte X58 UD5, the 1x slot is blocked by the NB so longer card cannot fit in there. I wonder if there will be any driver issues or sound issues if it is used in a 4x slot. Anyone has tried this before?
