hello,
i was told i could use the fan header on the gpu to control the fans, which is a nice idea as i think its the hotest thing in the loop.
i use my motherboard fan headers for my PWM fans.
using a older MSI™ X370 gaming carbon pro (i brought an updated cpu for it, before support for the AMD™ R7 5800x3d came out.)
is there a way of routing the signal though the mother board please?
at present it lets me choose cpu or motherboard for temperature.
best regards,
MrPerforations

Not easily but, technically with a one fan to two fan adapter cable between the fan and GPU header.

Then have just the rpm wire(usually yellow)connected on that second split you added and the other end to a motherboard fan header.

That's a double improvisation though but afaik the only way.

A lot of pumps do similar.

Not a true temperature reading but it will scale with GPU temperature.
