Using Throttlestop Undervolting Drastically Reduced Laptop Performance? Help?

Hello, I'm new to using Throttlestop and was very interested in finding methods to increase gaming performance and reduce temps on a laptop that regularly gets hot for me. Unfortunately after messing with it under the impression that it wouldn't impact my system's performance since I believed crashing would set the Throttlestop settings back to default, upon rebooting my booting times have increased significantly, taking as long as 10 minutes just to get to my login screen, and another 20 minutes to load up all my start up applications.

When I was finally able to access my Throttlestop application folder, I deleted it and restarted my laptop in hopes of it returning my performance to normal. It did not work.

I also removed my battery and SSD, accessing BIOS to return settings to default. That did not work either.

Now I'm hoping to reach out to someone that can help me return my system's performance to normal. Searching this problem online yielded no results.

My laptop is a Eluktronics Mech 17 G1Rx with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 and Intel Core i7-9750H CPU @ 2.60GHz. The programs I used were Throttlestop 8.70 and CPUID HWMonitor. I've downloaded Throttlestop once again in case I needed it.

Please help, I'm at a loss of what to do. I couldn't care less about undervolting now, I'd ideally just want my settings to return to normal. I've attached photos of current settings.

If it is taking your computer 10 minutes to get to the Windows login screen, this has nothing to do with ThrottleStop. There might be something wrong with your hard drive or your Windows install has become corrupted.

The screenshots you have posted show some typical and safe settings. Nothing unusual at all. I do not see anything any different compared to what thousands of other users are using for their settings.

If ThrottleStop was causing this problem, you would be able to find other people on forums with the exact same problem.

ThrottleStop does not interact with your BIOS in any way. If you reboot and do not run ThrottleStop, any changes you made while using ThrottleStop would have been completely forgotten. Each time you boot up, your CPU is reset to its default specs. Any ThrottleStop changes do not happen until after you get into Windows and only if you actually run ThrottleStop. In other words, your slow boot up problem is happening while ThrottleStop is not even running.

Find some utility programs that can test your SSD boot drive. CrystalDiskMark should show if your hard drive transfer speed is normal.

Maybe HD Tune can find a problem on your boot drive.
