When validation fails due to out of date version, the current version isn't displayed.
"The latest version is X.Y.Z, you have _________"
This is on Windows 11 default appearance.

There are a number of texts that may get truncated. Try dragging the right side of the window to the right to make the window wider and see if it appears.

Edit: My bad, thinking of some of the other truncations. The validation window doesn't stretch in the traditional way and the problem is actually with the text box size.

Perhaps get rid of of the "you have x.xx.x" since it should be known?

Confirmed. I have a UI redesign planned at some time in the future, just not sure when I'll get to it

@:D:D -- no, it is not safe to assume this.
It can be any of several previous versions, especially if Check for updates is disabled. :)

So, a good idea to list it explicitly, to avoid confusion. :)
