VAXEE XE-S Wireless

Since I am lost in Vaxee naming schemes and shapes - is this one more FK2-ish or ZA-ish, if we use scientific terms? Seems more ZA.

More FK, the ZA has a much more pronounced hump. Probably best described as something inbetween the two.

Yeah, the more I look at the pictures the more I see the FK resemblance. Although it’s not exact. Seems like the FK2 didn’t really get many direct successors/clones. I say the FK2 exactly since it was the mouse I liked best out of Zowie range. Well, that and the MiCo, which also bizarrely sees little to no copying.
Still, I’ve seen people who prefer the new Vaxee shapes to Zowies and consider them, essentially, an evolution, which is fair enough, I suppose. Feels like they are very claw oriented to me, at least.

I think Ducky Feather has the same shape of FK2. Glorious Model O- comes near as well, but might be bigger.

I'm ok with the 4000hz wireless limitation thing. I'd be running wired anyway and 2000hz in wireless mode would be perfectly acceptable. Hell my current wired mouse is only 1khz and it's delightfully responsive.

One year warranty for a $140 mouse doesn't seem very compelling.
Are you kidding? What do you want 5 years? MOST mice and keyboards come with a 90day or 180day warranties, if that. 1 year is pretty good.

Most electronics come with a one year warranty.

Kingsis really needs to get rid of that older Pixart RF. Battery in "performance mode" is quite subpar with a 400mAh unit.

Competitive mice with Nordic RF are hitting ~100hr @ 1k polling with ~300mAh battery.

Theyre using Pixart PAR2862 > Pixart PAR2464 > undisclosed Sonix (SN34F?) from what I can see here. 192mhz clock capacity, but not the fastest unit on market.

Edit: Gonna assume the ~110 rated hours is just a power saving mode or somehow disabling 2nd (sonix) controller. Not really apples to apples to top brands.

ehh, my country (spain) have 3 years by law and no one bats an eye nor brands complain or stop selling here.

Other countries like australia force the manufacturers to give up to 10 years on some appliances.

Giving one year of warranty or worse, 6 months, is just laughing in the faces of the consumers of your country
