So video said two things:
1) Can judge performance pretty accurately by price.
2) Frontier Edition doesn't have gaming features enabled.
If the prices we're seeing pop up are right, they put in territory between Titan Xp and 1080 Ti. #2 might be huge in terms of gaming performance.
Again, I have to stress that AMD did Frontier Edition for a reason. It wasn't motivated by what NVIDIA does with Foundation Edition (AMD staff scoffed at the concept of the Foundation Edition, if memory serves).
Vega is as compliant with D3D12_1 as Intel is and more compliant than Pascal.
AMD can pull a rabbit out of a hat with Vega. I'm not expecting it, but it is possible because the hardware itself makes it possible.
Says a whole lot of nothing.

It will just be nice to finally get some answers after months of ridiculousness.

That is not looking like a cable-friendly case. I sure don't want one. About the only thing you can do is take a sledgehammer to it and start over in another case.

I don't think it's really friendly to anything except trying to plug stuff in the back. But seriously, it's not hard to see the cable mess with that awful slant. I really don't get Alienware.

What I find interesting is that AMD only talks about RX Vega as in it is a single product.
But that doesn't have anything to do with the compute capabilities , it is there to facilitate them and I believe Nvidia has something similar too but not as capable . FP32 is used for rendering and compute , there is no reason to differentiate them. AMD does have FP16 so that is something extra on their side.
