ok I just did a reinstall of windows and now every time my computer starts it is super slow.
windows gets loaded and the internet icon first appears I put a clock on it and from the time it shows the little blue circle thingy like its searching for a connection, it takes 45 seconds to continue a search for a connection and then it shows the yellow triangle signal for 5 seconds then it has internet access. when I click for windows to check internet connection it says its fine.
please help, this is a reformat and fresh windows install fully updated so its not like I downloaded anything or got a virus, this is a windows setup issue.
utilities installed along with windows are:
adobe reader
adobe flash player
7zip
superantispyware
malwarebytes
ccleaner
paint.net
nero 7
office 2003
all utilities are direct source downloads or from oem disks
I never had internet issues before so this is something new
if I had to guess its like it is waiting for other process to finish before it can connect but there are no process running in the start up programs so it must be a windows process
