VESA Wall Mount for Aorus CV27F monitor -- recommendations?

I'd like to mount my monitor to my wall in order to free up space on my desk. For reference, my desk is 23.5" inches deep. About a week ago I bought a VIVO VESA 100x100mm single monitor/TV mount and tried installing it with some family help, only to discover that the mounting plate doesn't line up with the mounting holes on the back of my monitor in the proper way, with the mounting plate's pre-installed screws sitting vertically.

Does anyone have any suggestions for another wall mount, or different solution to my space problem in general? Thanks!

I use one like this how ever ii always used it for a 40+ screen, and might a be a eye sore as it will stick out top and sides with a small screen but is very adjustable.

Thank you for that suggestion! To be more specific, I'm looking for am arm-style mount, with at least monitor tilt and swivel capability

OOh is it indented so the other does not fit ?. Could you post the vesa mount you have ?.

Really looks like you don't have much space, but maybe you can get hold of some washers to make it fit raise it out of the monitor mold ?. but it am just guessing what the issue is.

Maybe it dremal time HA ( on the mount of course ).

ooh i was looking at that one ha, the plate not fit in the area for the monitor or the holes not line up ?. If it all lines up some washers if you can get the thin enough with large enough holes although might need longer screws then too.

Maybe get in touch with these guys https://www.echogear.com/tv-accessories/universal-tv-mounting-hardware-pack/ and see if they have any thing that would fit your needs.

You have still not said why it don't fit. Looks like the top and or bottom of the plate will not fit ?.

That's right. If I try to install the plate the correct way (as seen in the picture of the packaging I provided) the holes come no where close to even lining up with the holes on the back of my monitor. But if I flip the plate so that the large screws poking out of the mounting plate are horizontal (as opposed to vertical-facing in the picture) the holes on the plate and those on my monitor kind of line up, but not in a way I feel completely comfortable with.

In that case better to send the mount back, and look for another. If the holes cannot be lined it it's pointless to keep it.
