virus from cpuz?

Benchmark Scores A million on everything....
Well, somehow, AVG never detected this before. It's ran like 20 full system scans, then on the 21st scan, it found a virus on the cpuz files. CPU-z's been there for like a year or something... now all the sudden it turns into a virus? Or what do you guys think happened?

avg giving false positive?
it wouldnt let me run central brain identifier(amd cpu info app) on a mates pc,
try a diff av like nod32 to see if that brings anything up.

Perhaps something in AVG's scan engine now looks for something that it did not look for before. That does not necessarily mean there is a virus, only that the wasy CPU-Z works is now similar to how a new virus acts.

Upload and run the files in question against multiple engines using VirusTotal
