Vista update problem.

Itsa just one of the recent updates... Ive got it down to this http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...7e1701033.mspx

But I cant find "Office Source Engine" in services as it says for me to look for... wtf anyone know why its not thier? and I dont have office2003 installed, does it come with Vista or something? cause I cant find it in my programs list!

This is making me have to reboot my comp a couple times for my sound card to work.

I got this update in my auto updater like 3 days ago first run it was for 8updates than 7 more right after those 8 were done.. now Im stuck with theses 7 where one just wont work. Im to tired to bother going all over the net trying to fix another way to fix it I just cant seem to get a point on it; lol wierd eh.

Mine is still on auto update, in my start menu its telling me to shutdown comp for updates.. the one that wont update lol, urg wastes my time that has. so you cant turn yours on?



Another prob Im havin is with my Razor mouse software I picked english install and its french! I uninstalled it reinstalled it still had my settings and its still in french.. maybe I need to uninstall, clean the registry and intall again? well Im learning some french again anyway lol.

cant turn them on at all, impresuming its somthing to with a recently installed update and will be fixed shortly, tbh im not bothered that much as its only my updates and not firewall or av, nothing eles seems out of place to make me think its spyware related etc. heres the message:


"security centre cant change your automatic update settings"

you gave me an idea lol I been tired and "slow" lately. Im going to turn off automatic updates! lol hopefully it lets me and I dont have to reboot till sound works :S

dum question but have you updated the drivers for your sound ?

I think so I will check it out to see if there are new ones, but I thin I did check already and reinstalled them.

umm I cant get my mouse software to english! I looked in regedit, it was there till I uninstalled the mouse software.. than I deleted the empty folder in program files and rebooted.. installed choseing english and its still comes out as french no option to change it to engish either just my luck usually I have more time and can sort this stuff out lol it always happens liek this when I do something new to my computer buahaha.

for my mouse prob should I use a registy cleaner? what one?
