This is happening to me a problem that happens both if I put windos in the English and Spanish language and I already did the sfc /scannow commands and all the dism commands to see if it was an error of my windows but when I desist it the drivers and I use the generic microsoft drivers of 2020 the problem disappears but I do not have all the functionalities the bug is visual only but it does not let me read the options that have the letter O and it happens with most of the configurations I do not understand why this visual bug happened to me after reinstalling the same driver and restart already try to reinstall the fonts of windows one by one and nothing worked I don't know what happens everything works fine is that but if I can't read I can't optimize the ethernet configurations again for gaming and efficiency if I can't do that what good is it for me to have done a technical course in computer networks aaaaaaa

Do you mean the settings with the question marks can't be changed?

I'm also curious as to what you mean with "optimizing for gaming and efficiency". That's not a thing that needs to be done.

If not being able to see the letter "o" is preventing you from "optimizing the ethernet configuration for gaming and efficiency", you might want to ask for a refund on that technical course on computer networks.

In all seriousness though, I really don't think this is as big of an issue as you're making it out to be. So what if you can't see "o" in the menus? I guarantee you're still able to tell what the option is. It looks like font/character pack corruption. Or windows doesn't know how to display the character. Or some other minor bug. Who knows, crud like this happens all the time in windows, maybe it's a bug in the driver install itself. My advice? Don't mess with the ethernet driver settings unless there's a specific reason you need to change something. There's not much "optimization" you can do anyways, screwing with settings that don't need screwed with only increases your chances of accidentally breaking something.

There are some options that are unnecessary and consume unnecessary bandwidth or that I simply don't use because what good is the magic packet if I don't use that functionality or the arp and ns and tcp and udp checking of each file? i mean I don't have any server or anything like that those things are useful but for specific situations the less latency and the better it is for example to reserve 80% of the internet for the windows update QSOS package seems unnecessary to me because you can update whenever you want I studied that and I'm going to use it for my personal benefit

Not really but it is difficult for me to read some configurations and both the system bugs or the normal bugs bother me things must be perfect and correct I don't like things by halves if you have the solution for my problem please help me I am not a conformist and I have never been

If you can still operate the driver menu, change the settings you want first and then worry about the text corruption afterwards. No reason to let some question marks prevent you from enabling/disabling what settings you want to. As for the text corruption itself, it looks like an encoding issue with the text. Almost like the driver isn't recognizing the "o" as a UTF-8 character. Segoe UI is the default font for windows system UI boxes so maybe try and reinstall that font pack? But I can tell you firsthand that tracking down the cause of a little bug like this in windows is absolutely excruciating and often times nearly impossible. I get not wanting to have any bugs in the system but this is so, so minor that it really might not be worth wasting your time on. You might end up going down a rabbit hole that has no end trying to fix it.

No offense, but you've picked a bad hobby.
Trying to get drivers perfectly optimized in windows is like attempting to build a house of cards wearing oven mitts while balancing on one leg after chugging a handle of vodka. No shame in not being able to get things exactly the way you want them. Letting out a hearty "FUCK IT" after a sleepless night of trying to diagnose some esoteric driver bug is a rite of passage in my book.

That's your personal opinion I asked you if you know how to solve the problem

Where can I download SEGOE UI? because I thought about deleting it but I'm not seeing a site associated with microsoft to reinstall it safely I don't want to risk running out of that font just because I want to solve this visual problem

Play nice people.

Stay on topic.
If you cannot help... don't post.

Edit:

The original and newer variable are linked there.
Okay that didn't work can you give me a link where to download all the Windows fonts of windows 11? the weird thing is that this only happens with that window only and it didn't happen before the only thing I did was reinstall the 27.8 driver from this site https://www.intel.la/content/www/xl...el-ethernet-adapter-complete-driver-pack.html and also poor to use this driver https://www.intel.com/content/www/u...-adapter-driver-for-microsoft-windows-11.html and it didn't work either (I did a clean desistalacion in safe mode and it's supposed that if you delete a driver in safe mode it goes forever with all its data I don't know what other tool I could use to clean all the data I modified the driver)

This is a clean installation i did it on this month
I was saying since the font thing did not work... you may want to do a refresh to restore the fonts and whatever else may be changed.

If you did a totally clean install and it is still doing the same problem... then, your installation media may need replacing with new sources.

Or, send a trouble report to Intel and see if they have any solution.

That is all I have at the moment.
Good Luck

I'm saying that I deleted all the drives and partitions and disabled all the disks I wasn't going to use and just left the nvme and now I switched to windows 11 there is no old windows installation because I deleted all the files from all the disks and disabled them I know this would be solved by reinstalling windows but there must be another way to solve this isn't there? I literally already downloaded all my files again :/ and everything works fine it's just that part that's like it has that visual error

This looks like an issue with Intel's language files and their Unicode encoding of the special accent characters in your language

Report the bug to Intel if you have the time, otherwise just live with it

The error happens in both English and Spanish I have not checked in other languages but it seems too weird to me also I installed windows 11 on the 22nd of this month I don't want to reinstall it again just for that (I did a free installation without any disk activated or that has partitions and all the files are on the drive C I checked it with the windows disk manager I passed windows 11 because I had a valid key and because the new ethernet drivers were compatible until version 27.7

and I did a driver uninstall in safe mode and installed exactly these

and also try these

I don't know what else could be this problem happened when reinstalling the ethernet drivers to rule out that windows modified them and that's why it was causing a lot of lag when playing

I found the solution just disable the Windows 11 unicode beta and then switch to your second language and delete the native language from the system and then restart and then install your native language and switch to this and it's solved
