Have the GPU in question in my system specs and have the Sony STR-DN1080 receiver. Would probably need to run an HDMI cable from one of its ports on the GPU to one of the ports on the receiver. Then go into audio settings to output sound to said receiver. Unless if it downloads drivers. Will still have default display to 4K monitor through Displayport and no idea what to go on from there. Using DIRECT on the receiver.
Would be a waste of time to get 5.1 surround speakers for the PC when I already have the 7.1 through the receiver. Going to flatout refuse to use the optical SPIDF out from the motherboard as a connection.
Any suggestions or guides?
