I remember that site too. I could be wrong but I think that's where Viper John came from too. Haven't seen him around in a long time. Was great with modding ATI card though.

I came from XS as well. There was a big downtime of o few weeks or so if I remember right. A bunch of us starting hanging out here until the site got back together, I just stuck around. That's how I got the xtreme refugee title.

AS for the the op, I never see any message, guess I'm not one of the cool kids. :D

I don't even remember the site I used to frequent years back....I can't remember what site I visited. I think whoever ran the site/forum basically shut it down after a handful of problems. I remember someone pointing folks to TPU in some topic there at one point so I checked it out and thought - bleh, whatever. TPU doesn't look that impressive. I came around here from time to time and eventually made an account once the main place I visited became a ghost town and eventually shut down.

I can't though, for the life of me, ever recall having seen the message about checking out the forum guidelines.

I asked Him if he was the same Viper John and he said no. The real Viper is a modder master lol....yeah I ended up here years ago because W1zzard was the Author of some good ATI type over clocking tools.....W1zzard if I recollect was a paid for developer or something for ATI in the way back ATI AGP days...the good old days...I have accounts on them sites too....same handle as well...I think..

Edit oh yeah one of my favorite things about this site is the spottings of this title when in phantom mode!

I'm pretty sure it was him hear too. Still have a lot of messages between us from the X1800-X1900 times. He was trying like hell to get around the bios signature so he could modify them.

I almost had him do a custom hardware mod for me back in the way backs of 2005.....I was running a Vapochill rig back then 24/7.....them was good times..I still have the Vapochill and a bunch of very high end legacy cards.
