Ok so being the kind of person I am... I put a bowl of water on top of a set of draws, well in the top draw is lot's and lot's of stick's of RAM ranging from old 128mb stick of SD RAM upto 1gb sticks of DDR2 and everything in between, well anyway's back to the story... I was enjoying listening to my music (quite loud) and the bowl of water kind of vibrated of into the top draw... opps!

Now I'm thinking if I just left all the sticks to dry out, should they still work after, or is that it now, not even worth testing?

i think they should be ok if its fully dried out before any electricity goes through it

They should be fine. Let them air dry, or you can use a hair dryer to speed up the drying. I have spilt stuff on gfx cards before, never had a problem if you let them dry properly. :toast:

Let them dry out as they didn't have any electric current running through them they will be fine.

Wipe them down with alcohol to prevent oxidation from the water. Let dry. :)

Beer would be bad. Isopropyl will work fine. The higher the percentage the better.

*Drink beer while waiting to dry.

I've done similar, do as erocker suggests with the alcohol. You can also put them in the oven on the lowest setting possible to help speed up the drying process.

 Yeah, Isopropyl is what you want to use -- anyways, beer is supposed to be taken internally ;)

Wipe 'em down as erocker said, and let 'em dry. Everything should be just fine.

Ok this might seem a silly question to you, but where would i go to buy some Isopropyl?

Since you're in the UK, check out a drugstore or hardware store. I'd doubt that a grocery store would have any ..

Look for 90% or higer isopropyl - if you can find it, get that.
