@Space Lynx Like the others said, if you need to scratch that Diablo-ish itch and want to be able to play completely off line, Last Epoch is your game. I'm in the middle of Baldur's Gate III still, but finished Minami Lane and started and finshed A Short Hike last week so I guess I can add in some LE as well. My characters from Beta apparently carried over, but I started a new Rogue to see what 1.0 looks like.

I'm also still doing stupid things in Forza Horizon 5

I do play PSX emulator from time to time, remembering good old days. Duckstation is pretty good PSX emulator. Some of the games I replay is Driver 2 and of course Gran Turismo 2

Driver 2 is damn tough, thank God for save states or I will lose my mind a few times like back then. I usually finished the game with miliseconds to spare

As the older cars from this generation is getting more expensive, better to enjoy these cars in game. This Mazda for example is few 3 rotor car in production if you didn't know, it sounds great at least in game. Mazda making premium sedan back then sad that this car didn't catch on. I love em actually, also I'm a sucker for rotary engines.

Man, that's some extreme nostalgia for me right there. First SS - that mission is one of the hardest, it could be compared to a final mission in original Driver. Second SS - Mazda Eunos Cosmo, one of the best luxury coupes (GT class) ever made. I've spent so much time playing GT and GT2, that sometimes while driving endurance races I could take some sort of a nap and wake 2-3 laps later to continue the "real" perception driving without seeing any significantly higher former lap times.

After I finish Path of Exile im gonna give a look to this one... Since i didnt want to buy Diablo ( several reasons included) i want some more gory stuff/ offline that i can play at my pace.

So after 8 hours in Last Epoch it all of a sudden shuts my PC off . It doesn't matter if I'm gaming or just in the main menu, it's very inconsistent.
Very annoying as I was just lvl 20 Necro. No issues with other unfinished games like Star Citizen.

Edit: played for 5 hours and no issue. Seriously..I am lost.
Edit 2: probably the gpu is dying

Seriously though, I've had a good time with the game, but enemies constantly staying on Investigating mode indefinitely becomes tedious, especially if you play a minimal kill style like I do.

It's every complication in the old game right away. Be interesting to see if story or some new gameplay element keeps it interesting. Or if it just spams more and tougher enemies requiring very precise repeated movements.

Allure of the original was creating a build up to unknown developments. They really played with the formula of platforming. Timing of cutscenes or story elements created at least a few moments of expecting things to get really hard when anything and everything else happened. Or when the opposite sprung up it was rewarding.

i cant play a FPS with a controller, even though i played almost all the shooters from N64-PS1-PS2. Looks like it was the age, moment, and access i had to those titles in console. Once i jumped to pc and tried Half Life, UT and Quake was day and night for me.

I feel you, I felt like that first but after all, those slower-paced shooters IMO are fine with a gamepad!

Mercedes G 650 Landaulet was one of the last interesting real world production vehicles. Not exactly a cabriolet, but then again a 4 door shooting brake isn't exactly one either.


I need to find time to play through SE4 before I get SE5. Would be a great GOG complete game purchase avoiding it going poof from a game library silently.

Yet to regret going with FH4 first (full Eliminator lobbies again!) making fuller FH5 single player objectives a nice change. Have I mentioned recently how good the rock crawling and other player made courses are. I should really dig into Event Island and make one that takes a good half hour or more.

smooth as in its optimized well like the DOOM games? or smooth as in it looks like a soap opera effect?
