What are your idle CPU temps?

My daily driver PC idles around 29-30 °C (summertime when I configure fan curves). It's 2-3 degrees cooler at this time of year. My primary gaming PC (Ryzen 5900X) idles around 33 °C (again summertime). There's another PC that's the same as my daily driver PC: 29-30 °C.

I hate noise so I've configured my PC fan curves to favor acoustics over thermals. I could probably squeeze a couple of degrees by increasing the fan speed at idle but I prefer not to increase the baseline fan noise.

Not sure about my Mac mini (my primary computer) but for sure it idles at a much higher temperature. Maybe in the 40s? I don't bother diddling with fan curves, I just let it do what Apple engineering programmed it to do. I do know that my Mac's fan rotational speed at idle is much higher than my PC case fans (Noctuas) but still very, very quiet. And my Mac is closest to my ears, less than 0.5 meter away.

Well, I have no fans on my CPU cooler right now, no exhaust fan, no case pressure because the side and top panel aren't on.. people say X3D is super hard to cool? Nah not at all :)

~25°C (18°C Ambient)
5800X3D

Ryzen 5 2600 at stock
Noctua DH-15 (with 1 Fan due to a small motherboard) with Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Paste

Ambient room temperature is maybe around 16°C? I unfortunately have no thermometer of any kind to check, but my room's in the basement so it's fairly cool.

Idle temperatures are around 28°C to 30°C.

I just noticed 12Ghz effective on that screen.

Not bad for X3D..
