What does this mean In Windows setting Troubleshooting

So I was going through the troubleshooting in settings and I saw this in my troubleshooting history I don’t know what it mean but it says it is for troubleshooting recommend by windows but it says this in the window history troubleshooting

What is hardware and device troubleshooter and why does it say could not be run

In earlier versions of Windows, users have to manually trace the problems along with their addresses to incorporate the right troubleshooter. This event in red means there was an attempt to fix a critical issue on your computer, but the attempt either failed or was canceled.

Wasn't it when you forgot to plug your drive a couple days ago ?

Anyway, it's history and should not bother you much now.

It might have been the drive that I unplugged but what does the Hardware and devices troubleshooter do exactly what is this suppose to fix as a troubleshooter

As a troubleshooter it'll run a series of predefined tests all of which won't find a damn thing wrong and then it will tell it was unable to fix a non-existent problem so pretty much ignore it and move along if everything is running fine

So it doesn’t really find anything or do anything it just there because it ran a troubleshooting test and it juST showing it in my history

Yup pretty much if your machine is running fine then ignore the warning it's meaningless garbage
