hey, so i have a QuadCore AMD A8-6600K (it's an APU with AMD Radeon HD 8570D)
it's on a Gigabyte GA-F2a55M-DS2 motherboard i also have 16gb RAM i am looking for a graphics card that will allow me to play some of the newer games LIKE NARUTO SHIPPUDEN NINJA STORM 4 and other rpg's thanks for any help ;P

My PSU here is 450w i have no clue what make it is but i have a 650w ACE ATX12V P4 not sure if it would be compatible with my build though. hope you guys can help ;) thank a lot

With that APU, even if you overclock it, I wouldn't go beyond a GTX960/R9 380.

I'd look to see what make the 450w power supply is. If it is a good brand, I'd stick with that. If it isn't a good band, I'd throw the 650w ACE unit in. The ACE unit isn't that good, but it should be better than a no-name 450w. Though I'd really recommend buying a decent PSU. If you stick with the no-name units I'd go with the GTX960 because of the much lower power requirements compared to the R9 380/R7 370.

I just checked it and it's a WIN power + plus PSU 450w if that helps with any opinion ;)

What he said. I think the GTX 960 is the best option if you can't wiggle your way out of the PSU situation. A R9 270X or 370/380 are also other options to consider.

A brief look on google indicates that the game has an awful PC port. It won't run well, period.

Do you have some other games you are interested in? What is your budget?

What connectors does the PSU have, can we also have pictures?

Depending on that the best we may be able to recommend is a GTX 960 but it all depends on the quality.

I have no problems with 425w Enermax 82+ (oh well) PSU with i5 750 (old thingy) and Sapphire's R9 380 OC.

AMD also allows you to set power targets, which somewhat mitigates potential PSU problems.

As the Motherboard has an APU, you could pick up an AMD based card and crossfire. Edit, it seems to enable hybrid crossfire you need an old series HD7750 or HD6670.

eh....
used 7870 2gb
Umm..I'd worry about PSU 1st.
I tried to be "in before gtx 970"...but it didn't happen.

Always go for best you can afford...

No. The GTX 970 will be heavily bottlenecked more often than not, he has an APU that is not very strong on the CPU side. It balances out well with the integrated GPU, but not with a 970. Even the 960 will be asking for more CPU grunt in specific titles, but to a degree that can be overlooked.

The second issue is that his PSU won't carry a 970.

Personally I would even reconsider running the 960 on this old brick, my recommendation is that whenever you start upgrading OEM builds, the first replacement is the PSU, because that is precisely where OEM builds can still put a low budget part because no one looks at it (you select systems on CPU/GPU, generally, and sellers know this). Basically you have a 95% guarantee that the PSU will crap out at some point when you change the typical load.

yeah i was thinking about getting a gtx 960 not even thinking about 970 as it would kill my "pc" but also i was thinking of getting a new PSU as the one i got now may not have enough pins to support the GTX960 and the 650 i got only has a spare 6 pin connection available which im not sure if that will be enough for a 960

one 6 pin power connector should be enough for GTX 960 . It draws 100-110W . From PCI-E =75W + 6 pin 75W , total 150W . Make sure the PSU has enough A on +12V rail . e.g. 30A .

Yet , check the card connector requirement
If You want a better PSU , should tell where would buy - US , Uk ?
cheap : EVGA 500B/600B .
high quality : Seasonic 550W G ,...

Well.... If you managed to sell your current setup for £300 - Its still quite a decent system for what it is. a casual gamer might go for it. throw in that £200 and a little bit extra and get something like this.

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/BhxwTW

It will perform much better then what you currently have for a little more money.

Its just a suggestion anyhow. Im in no way telling you to go for a complete new system

Just get the GTX950 with no power connectors.

Just get the GTX950 with no power connectors.

All have 6-pin. He'd need a 750 Ti.

EDIT: Oh I see one was just introduced, but I'm scratching my head about the how. They are less power efficient than the 750 Ti so where are they saving the power without having low clocks?
