This is an interesting topic. I'm in the same ship as the OP, my problem is that i use a lot of HDD space for the system, 300GB to 400GB, so an SSD is out of the question as a primary HDD, way too expensive.
I went with the Z68 board because, among other things, of the ssd catching. I can afford a 64GB SSD for caching, and i use the same programs most of the time, so i hope SRT will improve my system speed a bit.
