To be honest i am an AMD fan but i just got curious about this. What is the best GPU manufacturer for Nvidia GPUs?

I usually go with MSI. I've had 4 MSI cards over the years and they've all been very good and long lasting. Also MSI does a really good job with coolers.

Well my last GPU's were MSI, no coil whine so would buy MSI again, however I have seen good reviews from other brands as well, I just hate coil whine....

The best Nvidia partner was definitely EVGA. From the remaining ones, I would agree with Hardware Unboxed that Asus is the one looking the best.

used msi for many ti cards never had any problems, now on asus coz it looks the best
both partnes have best quality and rma procedure

I loved Evga (FTW3), but now I have used Asus (Strix) for my 3080 and now my 4080, and the cards are great.

I also loved EVGA but most of the people recommends ASUS for its looks :(

Asus deffo is the best... except for the fact that they do absolutely zero quality control for coilwhine...

If you want something special, try to find and buy a Yeston... Pink anyone? :D

the one that gives me the best performance for my money

Zotac = 5 Year Warranty.

"Most" of the people? Ummm, no. That's not true.

I mean really, if anyone is buying one graphics card brand over another brand because of its looks, then they don't have their priorities straight.

I prefer to watch what is happening on my monitors and expect my computer cases to sit quietly and discreetly off to the side and NOT draw attention themselves.

But even if there are those who get their jollies staring into a computer case, the way graphics cards are installed in PCIe slots means you can only see the top edge. The "pretty" side is facing down. And the interiors of most cases are dark. But even if illuminated, it is with RGB (not W - white) lights. So again, any fancy aesthetics are hidden and obscure.

It is important to remember that graphics cards makers simply assemble components from other makers. Is it ASUS' fault if the Micron manufactured RAM on the ASUS card fails?

The question was,
What is the best GPU manufacturer for Nvidia GPUs?
Well, that doesn't really make sense, does it. The best GPU manufacturer for NVIDIA GPUs is, of course, the only manufacturer of NVIDIA GPUs. And that is NVIDIA.

Now, of course, we know what steelfox meant. And my point there is NO single NVIDIA graphics "card" maker that makes the best NVIDIA card in every category/price point, or for every intended use.

"Every intended use"? Yes! Sadly, many folks here seem to forget that there are many very serious computer enthusiasts who are NOT gamers. Many also forget that there are many computing tasks other than games that require very high end graphics cards.

There's a good reason some of the most expensive, most powerful graphics cards are NOT gaming cards. They are workstation graphics cards. And note how little emphasis is placed on their "looks". And rightfully so!

I have done successful builds with PNY, Sapphire, EVGA, MSI, ASUS, Gigabyte and others.

Which is best?

Bingo!

Wisdom. Unfortunately i can confirm the fact of "looks" part as a former sales associate... They have awful priorities.

Of course looks matter to some - that is why there is a whole science involved in the psychology of packaging and "marketing".

But I am confident when I say most people, the vast majority even, who are specifically buying a "graphics card" - a separate major component, that requires opening the case, using a screwdriver, removing the old card, installing the new card, disconnecting and connecting cables (potentially inside and out), installing drivers - are already several steps beyond that of typical computer users - most of whom consider their computers as just another electronics appliance in their homes.

Even most "gamers" are not that enthusiastic about who makes which card, or how many cores their CPU has. Most buy entire, factory made computers marketed for gaming. Or worse, they buy so called "gaming laptops". :(

I prefer MSI

Hi,
No idea evga gpu's are gone so I'm without a gpu manufacture :wtf:

Not sure in my country though, but I like that.... Most give 3 here... NL EU.
you just need to register the GPU on their website within 30 days and you get a 5 year extended warranty.

and so far i had one RMA (2080 Ti AMP Extreme, broken fan controller)
card was opened by me, different thermal pads and paste. they just replied with: yep the card has an issue with the fan controller. we don't have a 2080 Ti AMP Extreme in stock and you paid 1200€ for it.
here is a full refund.

There is no best they all make good and bad models.

In the past I would lean EVGA but now that they are done making gpus probably Nvidia direct would be my first choice but if they weren't an options I'd probably just go with whatever looked decent enough and was available at a price I'm willing to pay.

I've had both good and bad experiences with every aib CS so that really doesn't weight much in the past I preferred Asus because at least with their high end models they over engineer them but with how many of their high end cards come with obnoxious coil whine I don't really factor that in anymore.

Hi,
Yeah I'd just insist on a 16gb vmem more then brand
But I would lean towards a nv FE price wise but do not like what they're doing to other manufactures so buying nv FE I would have to hold my nose adding to cart/... :fear:

Well I'm glad every gpu ever welcomed to my arms, got naked and dived into water.
So much for the looks.

When I see a rog asus 4080 costs same as a rag gigabyte 4090, I have second thoughts.

Oh i remember those Waifu gpus :D
Do you like the box or the backplate? :peace:

Hi,
Yikes turning into a fetish thread

BFGtech. Wait... No.

eVGA. Nope, they're gone too.

I guess I'd say Asus,
only because their PR-dept has led me to believe that Asus has the most advanced and sensible manufacturing.
