What is your oldest PC component/peripheral that you still use today

Until about a year ago I was using a ~15 year old Dell laptop (think it's a core2duo) to handle tuning on my 06 Volvo S40 T5 AWD. Sadly it died. Still have the laptop and cable.

Day to day, I've got a Filco Magitouch Tenkeyless (might be a 2) that's the first "serious" mechanical keyboard I ever bought.

Can sound strange, but i really miss those old times... My first OS was PC-DOS 3.3 from IBM.

The Xilence XP550.

The PSU is now almost 16 years old and seems fine for the Intel 12600KF + RX 7600 combination I am currently using.

I plan to buy a new PSU in 2028 when this Xilence XP 550 will be +- 20 years old.

HP PSC 2355 inkjet printer-scanner-copier from around 2004. Used once or twice a month. Scanner mechanism louder than any home appliances or power tools. Here's the entire troubleshooting guide to always make it work while avoiding non-original consumables.

Doesn't print? Wash cartridge in warm water.
Still doesn't print? Buy cheap, expired, original cartridges on classifieds.
Can't find those? Buy cheap, expired, large original ink tanks for HP plotters of same era, then use a syringe to pump ink into cartridges. Works poorly for CMY but perfectly for black.

The printer also has an extremely rare feature. The control panel has a removable plastic overlay with holes for buttons (like this one), with printed descriptions in Slovenian language. The overlay has a simple bar code at the bottom, positioned so that the scanner can see it. With some magic involved, the UI (on the LCD screen) automatically switches to the same language as the overlay!

After all the horror stories I've read about new HP (and other) inkjet (and other) printers, do I want a newer printer?

Defo my speakers Logitech Z-2300 2.1 from 2006

The samsung 970 EVO...
Oh shit I realize I replace things so fast Oo
By the way, I keep the old stuff but I think I would never use it again, those things are good paperweights though.
I think I can do 3 or 4 full computers with the components thrown out of my build but hey, lazy here x_x

Just remembered that my main build is housed in a 2011 Cooler Master CM690 II Advanced USB 3.0 and has an NB-eLoop B12-4 fan for exhaust. It's a 2012 model, though purchased quite recently as new:

And the oldest part in my 2012 backup system must be the Scythe SlipStream 120mm exhaust fan. Can't remember the year I got it, but these fans have been around since 2008:

Also, still using the original Creative Aurvana Live! headphones from 2008, re-padded and re-cabled:

Again... AMD Radeon HD4830 with 1024MB of GDDR4 memory. From the year 2008.

How dissapointing, not even a core 2 duo from c2dDragon... I expected a horde of them.

I'm still using as my daily keyboard a Logitech Internet Navigator Keyboard I bought while in college more than 20 years ago.

Since we're posting other old stuff...

I still use this former behemoth for some troubleshooting.

Altec Lansing 220 speakers. Only thing I haven't changed since my Athlon64 Venice PC in 2005/6.

I was looking around today and realized that right under my nose I have some vintage hardware that I forgot was vintage. My Z97 Devils Canyon rig (daily driver) resides in a CoolerMaster WaveMaster TAC-T01-EK case! Back in 2004 I got bitten by the WaveMaster bug. HP had discontinued their Compaq X Gaming PC line. Remember the Intel X09 and the AMD GX5000Z series? I bought two of the new unused surplus cases. Then FrozenCPU liquidated some Cooler Master TAC-T01-EK and I bought two of them. From 2004 to2014 I built about 7 or 8 rigs in these cases. I even found 5 or 6 of the old MSI 865PE Neo-FIS2R RGB chipset fans that I still use today. Oh the memories! I retired part of the Compaq X case but it is handy for when I get the itch for anew build!

JBL Creature II 2.1 speakers :rockout:

I bought them around the time when the Apple Power Mac G5 was still brand new. Now they are hooked up to my secondary gaming PC, and they still sound better than all the current LogiTech 2.1 sets I also own.

I had a pair of Aurvana Live!. Fantastic for the price, but one cup eventually died on me, and I didn't have the wherewithal to attempt repair.

Oldest component in use 'round here: Superpower Zephyr, in continuous use since 1998. Every component sticker except the Pentium and Viper (and Apple, I suppose) represent a part that's spent time in this case. It's a fileserver now.
