What phone you use as your daily driver? And, a discussion of them.

How many of you are using the option to "charging the battery upto 85%" on android 13?

I had no issues with my S7 battery life from 2016 till now, I just load it wireless with 15W , I'm doing the same with my S23 and expect the same long life.

I don't use it on my S23U, but I do on my Tab S6 running OneUI 4.1.1/Android 12. With the capacity of the tablet battery, 85% is plenty.

i do. S22 and Tab A8 and a Galaxy A51.

I even turn off fast charging on the S22

Galaxy S20FE powered Snapdragon 865+ SoC. 2-2,5Days battery life after 19 months. Very impressive phone. Only concern is it is done with major Android update. It received 13 and that's it. Charging with 25W PD Samsung charger and Samsung 5A USB-C to USB-C cable since day one, only with fast charge option and always to 100%.

Arrived today, a very nice genuine samsung real leather case that fits my S23 perfectly as expected.

I use an IPhone 13 Pro Max and an IPad Pro 12,9 2017. Everyday.

I'm pretty happy with my Pixel 7 Pro, been using Android 14 already for a few months, which is the biggest benefit of a Pixel device for me personally. Samsung gets updates for plenty of time, but they don't get them nearly as quickly as Pixel devices do.

I'm using an S23 after my Pixel 6 broke. It's been an amazing phone and it's screen size is perfect!

Heh, my nice old S7 died due to ballooning battery. So I got a little moto g fast from a buddy who died, and considering I mainly use it to make and receive calls, very efficient.
Well then I got the dam ballooning on the moto. It got quite bad, so I bought a replacement kit for 19can delivered. Little moto g fast running great again! Just spent the last couple hours
changing that over. So now guess I'll try to fix the S7 next... why not?

uhh, condolences but congrats i guess???

My wife accidentaly broke her Galaxy Note 20 :/
Looking for a change, but using her old Galaxy S7 Edge, not up to date, and screen is broken, but still runing good !
Of course the Galaxy Z flip 4 has a big attractive power ...
Did one of you uses it ?
Is it solid ?

i tried out the galazy z flip recently. Definitely "sturdy enough". But as someone who works on cars and motorcycles, the plastic screen was a turn off. Also the camera is okay.

Thats why i went with the s22 instead :)

Probably a sale.

Lucky that the S22 has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 (4 nm) in India.

Here in EU the S22 came with the Exynos 2200 (4 nm).....

I'm so glad my Samsung Galaxy S23 comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 in EU now.

Why not the S23?
wasnt launched yet. my s22 does come with snap dragon. this was back in dec ish last year.

my old phone was acting up in a bad way so it had to be quick. couldnt wait around. Plus s23 comes with the same camera module as the s22.

Probably a sale.
i wish :( if i waited a few months i could have gotten it for much much less. i got it for a little over 750usd equivalent. Which isnt much less than the s23 when launched :( (800)

the sale had it for 600usd equivalent

Samsung screen mirroring finally supports casting to a Chromecast.
A hidden labs menu has made dreams come true.

Dream come true for me is being able to use my Tab S6 as a secondary monitor for my desktop. Works fine despite not all being perfect, and that too as a hidden menu (at least on the S6).

Pixel 6a - for a more "iPhone-esque" Android experience.
Best thing about 60 Hz display? I can use "Battery Saver" all the time without decreasing the refresh rate. :p:p:p

Google pixel 6 pro. Its okay. I'm not really a fan of the design. But I like big screens and I was in a rush so thats what I got.

I hate it...

Luckily the S23 is about the size of my S7, that's why I went with the S23 this time.
You hate that phone in particular? Or large screens? I remember the first big phone I had, the google nexus 6. At the time I was thinking it could kind of double as a tablet (remember when those were a thing?). Although the screen was actually a bit smaller than the pixel 6 pro, if you include the bezels I think it was actually larger overall, and sometimes it would barely fit my jeans pocket. Haha. But I still loved it, especially the speakers, they were great. These days those 6" is nothing, but back then it was huge. Even bigger than the note 3.

large screens
^^ I don't like large phones which come with large screens.

I preferred my S7 1440p screen but my S23 is ok, don't want a larger phone than that.

I own a nokia 2720 Flip (Kai OS) and a Nokia 6 (Android). In general both lay at home all the day.

Nobody needs to know where i am at what time. Which ways i choose etc. No Tracking at all. The only reason for the android phone is a app from my watch producer tracking my daily steps. But nearby all apps are not allowed to use the internet (WLan). Also the Feature phone is laying at hom all the day. That time i'm away from the phone i don't need it and i don't want to be disturbed by them. A kind of digital detox. ;)

Just got back the Sony Xperia 5iii from repair and ph my goodness it is noce to have a modern phone again. The Galaxy s9 is ... slow, today.
