Hey, I'm looking for 17" LCD monitors at work and was wondering what were you guys' opinions. I've researched a couple of ViewSonics, NEC, LG, and Sony ones but there's really too many to make a solid decision.
Here's what I'm looking for...
Going to deploy several hundred of these so this monitor MUST be plentiful. Meaning something like an Eizo, which is a quite a bit harder to find is no good.
17in.. looking for something stylish, and thin around the borders. Budget is $200-$300 each.
Going to be used by students/faculty who are generally idiots... so has to be reliable and able to take a bit of abuse.
The company that makes it has to have good customer support.
Monitor is gonna be used for Photoshop, AutoCAD, and various other graphical applications. No gaming or such so ~15ms give or take response is ok.
Thanks!
