I don't know what to believe
I changed things again and I pumped the fsb up to 440 and changed the multi to 7 but in BIOS it says I'm running at 3ghz and it says I'm running at 3962mhz in Everest, Hot CPU tester and SISoft Sandra Lite.
The cpu is only a E6600 and I read it'll max-out at 3.8 but in those programs I had it running at over 4.3ghz before I backed it down for stability and thinking it'll last a little longer.
It seems to be running fast opening and real smooth playing HellGate and Dungeon Siege 2
I'm at a complete loss as to what it's running at :banghead::banghead:
Does anyone have any ideas about which is the real speed I'm running at ?

Went and got latest CPU-Z and it says I'm runnin at 3080mhz
Thankx for the help

You are very very welcome!

7 * 440 = 3080 ... come on man you could have caluculated that yourself!

It should be easy but CPUMark2.1 , Hot CPUTester Pro and SISoftware Sandra Lite said it was runnin at 3960mhz

May have EIST enabled though. How far down can you adjust your multi?

It because the app is reading the CPU and does its math based on a MAX multi...not where you set it.

I was running a 500FSB and 3D06 would even see it at 4.0GHz sometimes....CPU-Z is the way to go!
