I'd like to know the answer to this, i know that HDD LED blinks to display HDD activity, i think that Power LED is always on when system is on, so what's the System LED header for? Is it the same as Power LED? If not what kind of activity does it display?

Where have you seen a System led header?

On the mobo i'm working on - Abit IP35 Pro. It has all 3: HDD LED, SLED & PWLED.

Wierd, never seen that before. i would assume its just another Power led in that case.

Would be quite handy for me, i have the Sharkoon PC jump start which has an led option, but it means I have to disconnect the case led. :(

Try it out, plug a spare case led into it, if you have one. See if you can make it do funny things, lol.

Does the manual say anything about it?

ha, ha, i found the answer in the manual, SLED stands for Suspend LED not System LED. And the answer to what it does you already provided. Thanks! :)
