Boost is weird in modern NVidia. It can go much higher than that guaranteed boost clock.
I left my card on stock, and if thermals are OK it can boost up to 2GHz during low-intensity loads.

Damn, when's the last decade you bought a gpu? Port protectors don't do much and are fancy frills when yer paying a lot for a card, to make you feel like you got somes worth for the money spent.

If the lack of box art and accessories are the worst things about colorful then I'm definitely considering then for my next build.
