ok, i'm impressed ... 10 days partial delivery ...

ok gamble success ... works perfectly and the software footprint is not huge, 80mb at max and less than 0.1-0.2% CPU, doesn't seems to be doing shady things and do not use network

theme and customization is straightforward, it doesn't use AIDA64 but its own software, and you need to edit the labels for those who are not custom (initially showed a I7-10700K and a RTX 3070 :laugh:

)

for the moment i will go with the Cyberpunk 2077 theme

"out of curiosity" reason seems to be a good one .... it's on par with the Fiio KA1 it can drive the KZ PR2 with ease (although volume need to be 100% unlike if i use the Q11 )

for 6chf? heck, i'd say it's quite good ... if it can hold a candle to a 79-99chf KA1, and after doing side by side test, i prefer the Conexant CX31993 sound signature over the ESS Sabre ES9281AC Pro

Are you kidding me? It's an RX 6700 XT, it can't get beyond 10 FPS with PT even at 720p. Just max settings without RT + XeSS Ultra Quality in all cases.

Mine weren't bad either, my CM AiO 280 with Noctua fans has serviceable performance, but I had to try one. Im not done testing.

Nope. Those frankencards with the 3060 have more cores than a standard 3060. IIRC, part way between the 3060 and the 3060TI, leaning towards the TI. As such they handlily beat out the 2060(any version) and RX6600(any version), even with the 6GB limitation. Not trying to insult you, just clearing up the question.

Yeah this is it pretty much, I wouldn't have even tried if I didn't know how to make it work.

Drivers aren't even much of an issue tbh, after installing the github FrankenDriver you can then use NVCleanstall to install the latest official driver over it.

You remember it wrong. Standard 3060 is 28 SMs, 3060 Ti is 38 SMs, and that Frankenstein has 30 sharp. This is closer to a regular 3060 + it's limited to 80 W on top of that so clocks are nothing to brag about, and thus, these 3060 Mobiles are slower than normal 3060s. 3060 Ti is beyond any reach for them, unless you somehow modded this 3060M to eat 300+ Watts.

Also ordered Corsair SHIFT 750w PSU for new build. It'll match the Corsair D5000 case perfectly and isn't dusty plus I don't have to rip out a 10 year old 400w out of a old case that I think only has a single 8-pin CPU connector so yeah probably for the best paired with a 14700K.

I stepped up the FL Studio Producer Edition to All Plugins as well while it was still on 25% off Black Friday sale.

Actually the difference is small, even though it's limited to half the power compared to a reg 3060 the extra cores and better efficiency even it out.
I see an average of 1750-1850MHz Core depending on the game/app after some tweaking which should perform about on par with a stock 3060.

I do agree it has no chance against a 3060 Ti, but it does have the overkill vrm capable of 400W+ because it's a 3070 board though.

Turns out it has a design flaw: bridge rectifier good for 3A without heatsink (a 500W supply takes more than 3A at 115V)
